The Montessori Academy of North Hoffman (MANH) provides a personalized approach to education where each child is guided in accordance with their own natural development. On average, our students score at least one grade ahead of their level on the nationally-recognized Iowa Assessments. Some children need more support-specific skills (social, math, reading, emotional regulation, etc.), and our teachers are trained to support them in these ways.

At MANH, we care deeply about how your children feel. We take the time to have conversations about their feelings so that we can support them as needed. Our community functions as a family. We celebrate each other’s accomplishments and support each other through difficult times. Our students of all ages value their childhood and don’t try to be adults too soon.

MANH is an inclusive community that values and embraces diversity. Each class is a representation of the greater world. The students work in a community of mixed ages, abilities, interests, and cultural backgrounds. We encourage our children to share their family customs and traditions with their classmates at school. Our children become friends with all of their classmates, not just those who share their same interests. Because of this, our students are compassionate and empathetic, and we don’t see the bullying issues or social cliques which are prevalent in many other school environments.
