Graduation
Each spring, Montessori Academy of North Hoffman honors the achievements and growth of our students with a heartfelt Graduation Ceremony celebrating the transitions from Kindergarten, Elementary (6th grade), and Erdkinder (12th grade). This meaningful event brings together students, families, and staff to recognize each child’s journey and their readiness to take the next step forward.
The ceremony begins with a formal processional of graduates and a warm welcome from the Head of School. The program includes student-led reflections, musical performances, and commencement speeches that highlight the personal and academic growth experienced throughout the year.
Graduates are recognized in three groups:
Kindergarten, marking the completion of the Primary years and the transition to Elementary.
Elementary, honoring the development of leadership and abstract thinking in the second plane.
Erdkinder, celebrating the maturity and independence that define the Montessori adolescent program.
Representatives from each class share memories and reflections, and Erdkinder graduates offer commencement speeches that speak to their unique experiences and aspirations. Following the presentation of diplomas and a joyful recessional, families gather for refreshments and celebration.
At MANH, graduation is not just an ending—it’s a celebration of becoming. It reflects our deep commitment to supporting each student as they grow into confident, capable individuals ready to thrive in the next stage of their learning journey.
