Erdkinder’s Spring 2026 Educational Adventures

Lower Erdkinder Trip to North Carolina
March 15–20, 2026

Lower Erdkinder will travel to Brasstown, North Carolina for an immersive week at the John C. Campbell Folk School as part of our American History studies. Students will explore practical skills and community traditions by repurposing fabric to sew their own garments, learning traditional crafts, and sharing meals with artists and Indigenous teachers from around the world. Through music, storytelling, and hands on work, they will experience heritage and craftsmanship in a meaningful, lived way.

Upper Erdkinder East Coast Trip
March 16–20, 2026

Upper Erdkinder will travel to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. to deepen their study of U.S. History. Students will visit Independence Hall, the Museum of the American Revolution, the Philadelphia Museum of Art,the Mütter Museum, Eastern State Penitentiary, the National Archives, and the National Air and Space Museum, among other historic sites. Students have planned the itinerary, mapped out city transportation, and will even prepare some of their own meals along the way!
